“The Lord’s Prayer” Movie

For thousands of years, followers of Jesus Christ have been praying in the same way Jesus taught His disciples to pray. Some use His words as a prayer pattern or guide, while others speak the very same words back to their Heavenly Father. Either way, this is the prayer Jesus taught His closest followers.

I am honored to be able to present the prayer known to millions as “The Lord’s Prayer” in this Flash movie format. Now, the prayer known to millions has been seen by over a million as a Web movie. Click here to read more. The best thing about this is the movie is simply an adaptation of Scripture! It is fitting to read words authored by the Creator while enjoying photographs of His beautiful creation! I am also thankful to those who have supported my efforts in spirit with their prayers and words of encouragement, and to those who have contributed financially through screen saver downloads.

The movie presentation is adapted from Matthew 6:9-13 and Luke 11:1-4 King James Version. Below is the text as it reads in the Flash movie. The text highlighted in yellow is from Luke 11, and the text highlighted in blue is from Matthew 6.

And it came to pass, that, as He was praying in a certain place, when He ceased, one of His disciples said unto Him, Lord, teach us to pray....
And He said unto them, When ye pray, say, Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be Thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done, as in heaven, so in earth.
Give us day by day our daily bread.
And forgive us our sins; for we also forgive every one that is indebted to us.
And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil:
For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory,
for ever. Amen.
